Hi! 👀 I am Shengbin Yue (岳圣斌), a Ph.D. student at Fudan University. I’m a member of the Fudan NLP Group and DISC Lab, and very fortunate to be advised by Prof. Zhongyu Wei and Prof. Wei Lin. Before that, I received my M.S. degree from Kunming University of Science and Technology in 2023, advised by Prof. Zhengtao Yu. Moreover, I was honored to collaborate with Prof. Liang Li (ICT, CAS).

My work spans Natural Language Processing and Multi-modal Learning. Before LLMs, I focused on visual-language captioning (i.e., Change Captioning). Now, I’m dedicated to advancing fundamental planning and reasoning capabilities in language models, with a particular focus on :

  • 💻 [Autonomous Agents]: Designing agents learning for interaction with physically grounded environments. Research focuses on reinforcement learning, evolutionary optimization, and multi-agent synergy, applying to retrieval-augmented reasoning and adaptive tool use.
  • 🌎 [Social Modeling]: Exploring methods for collaboration and reasoning of language models within real-world social structures (e.g., legal systems). This includes multi-task scheduling, social simulation, and strategic planning, to enable agents to comprehend social norms, execute socially structured tasks, and support trustworthy human-AI cooperation.
